With a cloud-based solution, you’re always running the latest version of the software. NetMenu also comes with unlimited logins from a web browser, so individual user licenses are not required. Inventory Control
NetMenu supports physical and perpetual inventory models. Inventory can be entered on a tally sheet or scanned electronically with a handheld device using our optional Mobile Inventory app, which runs on iOS and Android devices.
Mobile Inventory provides flexibility, allowing you to enter counts anywhere you have inventory — even freezers without internet connectivity. The app also makes it easy to issue and transfer product to and from revenue centers. The Floor Stock module gives you simplified workflows and a mobile app for replenishment.
Ordering and Receiving
With NetMenu, you can generate a shopping list and purchase requirements from your forecasted menus, as well as interface with your national suppliers and local vendors for accurate costing.
Create orders from menu need, par, or template and ensure that the right product is ordered for the right application. The system suggests the best products for any ingredient based on availability, order guide, contract status, price, etc.
Electronic vendor integration — and integration into your accounts payable, general ledger, and point-of-sale software — will allow you to better manage ingredients, products, vendor items, and the links between them. NetMenu’s electronic receiving feature updates product inventory and pricing, and the accounts payable integration completes the process.


Food Production
NetMenu automates and simplifies your production processes to help you reduce food waste, decrease menu costs, and increase operating efficiency. The menu and the forecast are what drive production. NetMenu provides scaled recipes, production sheets, pull lists, and prep lists to help streamline kitchen operations.
NetMenu’s post-service analysis completes the loop, providing the information you need to reduce waste/slippage and loss. Tracking actual use and sales gives local managers the information they need to improve operations.
NetMenu organizes prep work for any number of venues, coffee carts as well as any grab-and-go locations. Your staff can efficiently manage your foodservice operation while keeping tight control on quality, consistency, cost, and patient safety.
Reporting
Reports make it easy to know your costs and easily identify opportunities for savings. In-depth inventory analysis gives visibility into the movement of product and theoretical versus actual cost. NetMenu calculates cost of goods sold to evaluate the cost to produce items, including indirect costs such as condiments and prep time. Summary and detailed reporting and standard portion analysis provide the tools you need to analyze your recipes and menus.
